Hadrian

Wanted to share this pic with you. This is the puppy we came and got that would growl at everyone and you were so worried they would put him to sleep. Remember Bill just reached in and got him? He is so stinking handsome now. Here he is with his family. Happy Holidays and Best Wishes to you and your family and THHS. Jeany

Gina

Remember Gina, the Terre Haute shelter dog that I took into my rescue program a couple of years ago? Well, here' a picture that her "mom" sent to me today.....Doesn't this warm your heart? Marti

I want to thank you for sending me such a great dog! Tia who's name is now Tank is amazing I picked him up from Maryann and tanks new daddy Dennis meet us there, tank came out of the car with his tail wagging and a bright look in his eyes he said his goodbyes to Maryann jumped in dennis's car like he knew that he was going home. I meet them at dennis's house and wanted to be there for the intro to his dog Crazy, it went great it was like they were life long friends. Tank jumped right on the couch and gave all of us a big kiss and laid on my lap for a belly rub. He than did the pee pee walk in front of the door went right out and went potty. This could not have gone better he is such a great amazing wonderful dog he was so happy to be home his tail never stopped wagging. As I went to leave Tank stopped and would not move tilted his head and stared at me as if to say thank you he did not move until I drove away. He was for sure not loved in his last home he is missing all of his front teeth between the k-9s top and bottom he is so skinny and his poor skin must itch so bad. All of that will change Now he will be so loved and well taken care of he is going to see the vet tommarow about the staples. Thank you again for helping tank and all the other dogs I hope to do this again and again for more pits Stephanie

Daisy
Daisy

Hi Kathy! Just wanted to check in and let you know that we are all so happy!! We changed Daisy's name to Kinze, (Pronounced like Kinzie) but she seems to be adjusting just fine. Ben and I are so in love with her- she is such a good girl. She fits with us so perfectly and is just the right mix of active and mellow. We take her everywhere with us! This weekend was a busy one but she got along with everyone she met except for one cat. And you're right- she's great with kids! We had to leave her home alone a couple of times but she does just fine. We never crate her and just let her roam in the house. We are still working on a few basic commands but she really is remarkably adaptable. Cant believe we've only had her a little over a week! The vet came and looked at her the other day, gave her a clean bill of health and thinks shes in great shape. We feel so lucky and are so grateful to have her. Can't thank you enough for placing this wonderful dog into our lives!! Hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving! Love, Lara
