Gertrude (Trudy)is a 5 year old female lab mix who arrived weighing 91.4 pounds and in need of a physical.  After her visit to the vet and now being in foster care, Trudy weighs 78 POUNDS.  Trudy has a transitional cell tumor in her bladder too large to be removed and is on medication that the vet said sometimes can keep the tumor in check or even shrink it some for about 6 months to 2 years. She arrived with a low thyroid condition and with medication, her thyroid levels are just right.  She's been living in foster home with 3 or 4 other dogs and a cat.  She knows "sit","shake", and is housebroken and a very, very sweet 6 year old who is responding very well to treatment!!!!  Trudy is a senior who deserves loving attention.
