She arrived after being found on the ISU campus and very thin and scared. She was given the name "Martian" which describes her skinny, skinny body and big green eyes! Once she decided we aliens were not bad aliens she started putting on weight and enjoying the kind services that were provided to this skinny martian. Martian was in a foster home for a while where she hid for the first day from the human and her 12 yr old cat and a 5 week old kitten foster. Martian would see the foster wave to her and run or just say "hi" and Martian would run. Martian decided the foster kitten was cool after just the first day and on the third day she leaped onto her foster Mom's lap and everyone was surprised, shocked and thrilled.
Martian is litter box trained, cool around senior dogs, senior cats and humans if you are patient and wait for her to want to brave meeting you. She's now hanging out in free roaming kitten room and still putting on weight; she likes this new human world she's discovered.
